Role Summary: The Branch Manager is accountable for the oversight of the branch, its staff, reputation, and portfolio. They offer guidance in the daily activities of the branch, and attainment of branch objectives, all while upholding the company’s strategic objectives and fostering positive relationships with employees, customers, government entities, and industry influencers.
Supervises: ROs, CSO, Interns

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the Branch into high-level performance standards through proper supervision of staff and maintenance of a healthy loan portfolio.
  • Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the branch, and achievement of branch targets, while maintaining focus on the company’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement a branch turnaround strategy to ensure that at least the branch is profitable.
  • Stimulate branch growth through the marketing of Fincorp products and recruitment of new clients.
  • Develop new strategies for customer retention activities.
  • Respond to customer queries and address service complaints promptly.
  • Analyze customer feedback and develop new techniques to ensure customer retention
  • Delinquency management given maintaining portfolio quality at acceptable levels.
  • Take charge of the office’s general administrative duties.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all policies and procedures.
  • Maintain and develop lasting relationships with staff, clients, and external partners.
  • Motivate, inspire, coach, and develop branch staff to achieve set goals and objectives.
  • Ensure high staff productivity levels and retention.
  • Enforce system controls.

Qualifications:

  • The incumbent must be Holder of bachelor’s degree in business management or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 3 years Branch Management experience in a Financial Institution.
  • Computer literacy and proficiency.
