Gibson Wachaga

Gibson the founder of Fincorp Credit Limited, has over 12 years experience in Investment banking and stock brokerage Industry in the Kenyan market. Previously served as an Associate Director Fixed Income at Dyer and Blair Investment Bank. During his tenure at Dyer and Blair, Gibson was credited with revamping fixed income department and growing the Firm’s business significantly and as of 2013, during the 4th annual Capital Market Authority (CMA) awards, Dyer and Blair scooped the leading position.

Gibson previously held same position at Faida Investment Bank. Prior to taking up Fixed Income roles he worked in Corporate Finance division as an Analyst.

Gibson was part of the team involved in the Co-op bank IPO, Safaricom IPO the biggest IPO in Kenya Capital Markets.
Gibson holds a post graduate degree from University of Strathclyde (UK), where he graduated with MSC in Investment and Finance, holds an undergraduate degree from USIU Africa International Business Administration-Finance. He is also CPA(K) holder.
Gibson’s key docket is providing leadership to the Fincorp Credit team and company’s Funding and Investment decisions.

Anne Wangeci

Anne has a wealth of experience and expertise from different fields.

Anne has over 15 years of work experience prior to joining Fincorp Credit Limited she worked at various capacities for Laikipia County Government, Dyer and Blair Investment Bank, Barbell Investment Limited, Unisper Investment Limited, Namsi Limited (Nobilia) and Kenya Railways Golf Club.

Anne has a Bachelor of Business Management from Moi University and is a CPA (K) holder from Vision Institute of Professional Studies.

Phoebe Oyondi

Phoebe has vast knowledge in the financial services industry and experience of over six (6) years in Management, Business Administration, Investor Relations, Financial management, Real Estate, Insurance, Business Development, Marketing and Sales.

Phoebe Oyondi is a General Manager at FinCorp Credit Limited, where she is responsible for business development. Prior to this role, she has held senior management positions in credit and business development at MyCredit Limited (2016 – 2021).

Phoebe holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce; Human Resource option from Kenyatta University, and currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM UK) and additionally, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Nairobi.

Abubaker Mukira

Abubaker joined FinCorp Credit Limited in September 2022 from Gulf African Bank where he served as Head Operations for over 15 years.
Prior to joining Gulf African Bank, he worked at Co-operative Bank and held various positions in operations, procurement, and branch management, where his last role was Head of Business Support Services.

Abubaker started his banking career with Kenya Commercial Bank as a Graduate Trainee in 1987 and left in 1994 as Manager Online Systems Implementation.

He has over 28 years of progressively senior management experience in a variety of challenging banking operations & support services. He has extensive experience in design, operation, and process improvement.

He has demonstrated experience in development of business strategies, acquisition and implementation of new systems and successful project management.

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University Africa USIU), a Bachelor of Statistics Degree (Makerere University), and currently pursuing a PhD in Strategic Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).

Jacky Mugane

Ms. Mugane has been in the financial sector for the last 12 years working in senior positions hence have a great grip of experience.

Prior to joining Fincorp Credit, Ms. Mugane previously worked in Capital Hill Forex as Head of Cashier. In micro-finance sector, she previously worked at Mazel Investments as Head of Operations then later she started one Kenalisha Company where she operated as the Chief Executive Officer.

Ms. Mugane holds a degree in Business Management and she is also a CPA-K holder from Strathmore University.

Business Development Manager

Grace Njuguna

Grace has been in  Microfinance industry  since 2009. Her experience cuts across growth of business through marketing products and recruiting new clients. support branch expansion programme, staff recruitment etc, analysis of credit performance in relation to loan portfolio growth and quality.

She joined Fincorp Credit in the year 2023 as the Business Development Manager. Prior to this, she held various positions at KWFT Bank and Musoni Microfinance with the latest being Business Development Manager.

Currently she is pursuing a degree in Business Management at Mount Kenya University, she also holds a Diploma in Cooperative Management from Cooperative University of Kenya. Grace has attended several trainings on Customer Service, Leadership and Supervisory, Credit Appraisal and Management.

Legal and Compliance Officer

Asilia Mbodze Kombo

Asilia has vast working experience in various fields, touching on Investment Banking, Marketing and branding, Law firm experience, Consultancy for several start ups and Entrepreneurs in Fintech, Consumer Goods, Land Management Systems and Dispute Resolutions and religious organisation.

She has wide corporate experience in job functions which includes Administrative Functions, Project Management, Research, Corporate Governance, Legal Due Diligence and Compliance Matters

She holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi.

Abdi Shakur Mohamed

Abdi Shakur Mohammed is an Islamic Banking and Finance expert who has both local and international expertise. He has Masters in Islamic Banking and Finance from Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance (IIiBF, Malaysia) and he holds a Bachelor Degree with Honours BA In Sharia (Islamic Law) from Islamic University of Madina. He has experience in the banking sector and more precise in Sharia Audit, he has trained and participated in conferences and seminars. Mr. Abdi is certified in Islamic wealth Management (WAQF) as well as stock markets, he is currently a board member of Zakat Kenya. Currently pursuing certificate of Arbitration.

Ibrahim Rashid Mohamed

Ibrahim Rashid Mohamed was former Imam at Masjid As Salaam Located in Mugoya south C, Nairobi and he is also an expert in Islamic Economics. He holds masters in Islamic Economics and BA in Islamic Sharia (Hons) from the Islamic University of Madina. Mr. Ibrahim is experienced in dispute resolution, more precisely on Matrimonial & family Matters where he has been actively practicing for the last 3 years. He is a Certified Islamic Wealth Manager and specifically in Islamic endowment. He is well knowledgeable in Islamic finance, inheritance, Zakat, financial dispute resolution as well as spiritual guidance and counselling. Mr. Ibrahim is also a board member of Zakat Kenya.

Dr. Rashid Ali Omar

Rashid Ali Omar is Former the Deputy Chief Kadhi of the republic of Kenya. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Sociology from Mount Kenya University and he holds a master’s degree in social development and management from Maseno University, a bachelor’s degree Islamic Sharia from Islamic University of Madina. He is also certified mediator from with over 24 Years’ experience in dispute resolution, application of Islamic law in all contentious and non-contentious matters. He has also authored the book “Droplets in the science of Quran“ and published (8) academic articles on various international journals. Mr. Rashid holds several leadership positions both at National Government level and community level.
